The first truck was acquired in the 1930s. Later, two trucks were acquired for long-distance transport - from then on, cartage services and smaller transport tasks were carried out.
The business was shut down during the war, but after the end of the war Friedrich Wesemann, grandson of the company founder, began to rebuild the company. His starting capital was know-how, idealism and plenty of good ideas, which were passed on to him by his grandfather. Goods were transported using simple means and the family business was rebuilt piece by piece.
The first refrigerated vehicles were put into operation in the 1980s. Over the years, each generation has continued to expand the business and develop it in line with the times.
Volker and Ralf Brüggemann take over a modern transport company. The fleet has grown to 120 company-owned vehicles and the team consists of 155 employees. State-of-the-art computer technology and a proven network with long-standing partners in Europe.

Blue Frigo was founded in 2002 with two vehicles. Just five years later, the company moved into larger premises in Szczecin and Lodz. Today, the fleet comprises a total of 30 towing units.

Since January 2023, we have relied on efficient control and support from Spedion. The user-friendly application allows our scheduling department to keep an eye on the entire fleet at all times. All registered vehicles, their routes and the drivers' activities are displayed.
Our colleagues have successfully completed the HACCP training for the storage, handling and transport of packaged food.
